GeoSource, EGI's electrical source estimation software, extends the abilities of EGI's Net Station EEG software and enables you to visualize the estimated cortical activations that are contributing to the EEG pattern measured on the scalp.

In response to our customer's call for the ability to perform source estimation using individual head models, EGI released GeoSource 3.0 Research in July 2016, available from within the Net Station 5.3 software. GeoSource 3.1 Research, released with Net Station 5.4, reflects the improvements made since the initial 3.0 release. 

Like the GeoSource 2.0 generation software, GeoSource 3.1 Research also uses distributed linear inverse techniques, but now offers a range of head models for customers to work within, including 7 age-appropriate realistic atlas-based head models and the ability to create individual head models as well that use the patient/subject's own MRI. As the name implies, GeoSource 3.1 Research is for research use only. Every GeoSource 3.1 license also includes a license for the clinically-cleared GeoSource 2.0. This means that any customer who purchases a GeoSource 3.1 Research license, will always have access to GeoSource 2.0 as well.
