EGI is pleased to announce the launch of the new GES 400 product line for clinical use. The GES 400 products offer EGI’s advanced dense array EEG technology in a clinical package, and provides physicians with the ability to run both standard EEG exams and high-resolution EEG-based brain imaging using the same device.

While standard EEG is recognized as the best method for direct measurement of brain activity in real-time, it has been underused because of its poor spatial resolution. EGI’s new advanced GES 400 product line adds the capability for EEG results with very high spatial resolution, transforming EEG from a simple screening test into a non-invasive brain imaging technique at a price point accessible to both hospitals and private clinics.

A key component of the GES 400 product line is EGI’s new Net Station 5 software, the only EEG software on the market that is designed for review of both standard and dense array EEG exam results. The standard EEG chart view is displayed next to topo views that convert dense array EEG results to 2-D and 3-D brain activity images. A new intuitive interface and fast paging speeds ensure that even small clinics can review and interpret high-density EEG with ease.

The GES 400 system is available for clinical use in the U.S. and is CE marked in conformity with the European Medical Device Directive.
