The versatile Smart Eye Pro technology can track head and eye movements up to 270 degrees, allowing the largest visual field on the market. Machine vision research and advances in computer hardware technologies have made it possible to measure head pose, eye gaze, pupil dilation, and eyelid state with high accuracy, using video cameras and digital image processing. Smart Eye utilizes these advancements to provide the most robust, flexible, and accurate systems possible for demanding applications.

Smart Eye CameraThe key component of Smart Eye systems is the computerized analysis of video images. The systems use one or more cameras together with a flexible number of IR-flash illuminators. These IR illuminators are controlled by customized hardware, so that each system uses primarily its own illumination. This makes it highly robust to all natural illumination conditions present in diverse environments such as automobiles and aircraft, as well as the variable light caused by an ERP stimulus presentation monitor.

EGI’s Single Clock solution provides the precise timing you need to generate saccade, fixation, an pupillometry-based ERPs. Already installed in aircraft, automobiles, and a Caterpillar tractor, this robust system is your only reliable solution for developmental studies, clinical populations, and research in operational environments.

Smart Eye Pro has been developed for users who require non-intrusive, high-accuracy 3D measurements of head pose and eye gaze in real time, and under realistic test conditions.
