Support Engineer I

Electrical Geodesics, Inc. is looking to fill a Support Engineer I position.  We develop, manufacture, and sell dense-array EEG to research and clinical markets.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a stimulating work environment, and the opportunity to live in beautiful Eugene, Oregon.

Required Skills & Preferred Experience

Customer Support Engineers provide technical assistance to customers of EGI's high-resolution EEG measurement and analysis systems for use in medicine, psychology, and neuroscience research; analyze and evaluate the needs of EGI customers in connection with software and hardware required to run EGI systems; and provide installation and technical support for EGI products. International travel along with excellent verbal and written communication are required. Occasional 24/7 on-call duties required. Macintosh experience and science degree a plus.

Staff Scientist

Electrical Geodesics, Inc. is looking to fill a staff scientist position.  We develop, manufacture, and sell dense-array EEG to research and clinical markets.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a stimulating work environment, and the opportunity to live in beautiful Eugene, Oregon.

Required Skills & Preferred Experience

A successful applicant will have strong signal analytic skills and relevant published work in peer-reviewed journals.  Experience with inverse methods and other neuroimaging modalities and knowledge of neurophysiology are pluses.  Applicants are not required to have a Ph.D. but this is preferred.  Staff scientists work closely with other scientists, engineers, and support personnel.  Duties will include development of advance signal analytic methods (such as adaptive noise cancellation, neurophysiologically constrained inverse methods, automated pattern recognition), publication in scientific journals, grant writing, and support of engineering staff.

Research Sales Account Manager

Required Skills & Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree or higher in biomedical engineering, lab-based science, or related field. Experience operating EEG systems, preferably EGI's Geodesic EEG systems, is preferred but not required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency with both Mac and Windows operating systems are a must. If you have the ability to travel for product demonstrations and conferences, and a desire to relate to individuals at all levels within an organization, this is the perfect position for you. Some training experience and sales experience a plus, but we are willing to invest in training the right candidate.

Clinical Sales Specialist

Description

The candidate for this position will provide clinical, technical, and training expertise with direct sales responsibility in the hospital EEG lab setting. This includes laptop presentations, as well as product demonstrations on-site, at trade shows and workshops. The position requires frequent air travel covering a large territory with schedule dependent on account activity. Ability to interface/communicate with a variety of levels (clinical/non-clinical) is critical for success.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher degree in a biological-based science, with a medical/clinical background, preferably in EEG. Minimum 3 years sales experience in a similar medical field. Proven track record in sales. Proved ability to travel, covering a wide geography. Proficiency on Mac computers and experience in use of a sales database tool.
