Research DivisionDuring its history, EGI has obtained $25 million in federal grant support for research and development of neuroscience technologies. Because these technologies are interdependent, and because they are now converging to allow multimodal neuroimaging, we describe them here as Converging Neurotechnologies.
With over 500 laboratories and clinics now using EGI's Geodesic EEG Systems, there are many creative approaches to research topics, ranging from psychopathology to neuroeconomics. The Research Products and Why Dense Array EEG sections present EGI's advanced technologies for research laboratories.
EGI's basic research is conducted within the Brain Electrophysiology Laboratory. Because EGI scientists are researchers themselves, they understand that researchers need cutting edge technology to be competitive. The Brain Electrophysiology Laboratory is our proving grounds not only for making advanced neuroscience techologies, but also for making them usable.
