With the integration of polysomnographic (PSG) monitoring channels, GeoMedica's dEEG systems now support full capabilities for dEEG in sleep diagnostic systems.

Advanced Polysomnography at Wisconsin Sleep

A powerful combination of specialized sleep diagnostics and dEEG systems has been developed for Wisconsin Sleep, integrating the continuous data stream from the Alice 5 PSG system from Respironics, Inc., with the 256-channel dEEG data collected by the Geodesic EEG System. This combination is supported by a high-bandwidth network acquisition installation, allowing nineteen patients to be monitored with PSG and 256 dEEG continuously, with direct acquisition to a high performance storage server.

Extending Networked EEG to the Home Environment

Although high-performance computing and networking is most readily applied to advanced hospital and clinic laboratories, ongoing research at EGI, GeoMedica, and Cerebral Data Systems is finding ways to adapt these technologies to allow continuous monitoring at home.
