How do I place an order?
We accept institutional purchase orders for Geodesic EEG System orders
and software packages. Please make sure your order references our
quotation number so we can verify the details of your order against
our records. If you have specific delivery needs, make that clear
in your purchase order and provide a person or department for us to
work with. Please also provide us with a contact person in your department
so we can confirm receipt of your order and resolve any issues related
to your order. If you have questions regarding this process, email
sales@egi.com.
Orders of consumables under $3,000 can be purchased by credit card—larger
purchases may be made using credit card by prior arrangement. (See
Standard Payment and Shipping Terms for more information.)
Is installation included
in our purchase?
Yes. All Geodesic EEG Systems include an in-person installation visit,
unless otherwise stated in the quotation. Installations are scheduled
by our support engineers based on customer preference and engineer
availability. You are responsible for providing us with the contact
information for key personnel at your hospital or clinic who will
need to be involved in the installation process. The support engineer
who will do the installation visit will need to discuss installation
details with your staff in advance to ensure that the visit is productive.
Is training included?
Yes. All Geodesic EEG Systems include an on-site training visit at
the time of installation, unless otherwise stated in the quotation.
Additional training programs are offered throughout the year on various
topics including the annual EGI Summer School. We also attempt to
coordinate periodic training programs covering BESA and other third-party
software products.

Are there other suppliers for
EGI Geodesic EEG Systems from whom I can get a bid?
No. EGI and its international distributors are the sole source from
whom you can purchase EGI technology. We are happy to provide a Sole
Source letter to that effect for your procurement records.
What are your standard terms and conditions
of sale?
All EGI clinical products are sold under a standard set of Terms
and Conditions. Products that are sold for research use only (i.e.,
those that do not have FDA or EU Medical Device Directive clearance)
are sold under the Terms and Conditions applicable to research product
sales.
What warranties apply to
the products we are purchasing?
EGI-manufactured products are sold under the EGI Limited Warranty.
Typically, warranties are for a one-year period from date of purchase,
unless otherwise agreed. Products that EGI distributes for third parties
are sold with the manufacturer's warranty. (Details available on a
product-by-product basis.)

What does the Net Station Software Subscription
Include?
Net Station and other EGI-developed software products are sold with
a one-year software subscription that entitles the customer to all
maintenance and routine upgrades released during the year. It also
includes user support and one free tuition to the EGI Summer School
or other training program offered during the year. The Net Station
subscription does not include major software releases that contain
new functionality, such as the Geodesic Electrical Source Imaging
software, planned for release in early 2006.
