Geodesic EEG Products
EGI Geodesic EEG products support dense-array EEG data. Unlike
conventional 19-21-channel clinical EEG systems, EGI Geodesic
EEG Systems can record from 32 to 256 channels of EEG—providing
you with much richer data.
The Geodesic EEG Systems are built around the Geodesic Sensor
Net (GSN), which is based on EGI's patented geodesic tessellation
technology. Geodesic tessellation evenly distributes the tension
at each sensor pedestal, eliminating painful pressure points on
the scalp. The web-like structure ensures an even and quick application
of the GSN. The GSN requires no scalp abrasion, making it perfect
for pediatric populations or long-term monitoring.
You can then use the Geodesic Photogrammetry System to register
the sensor locations, with minimal fuss to the patient.
