Reviewing Our Products

To receive a catalog describing EGI's product line and listing the current prices please email us. A catalog, product brochure and other information will be mailed to you. Please let us know if your timeline is tight; we will be happy to fax a catalog to you.

When you request a catalog it is helpful if you provide a brief description of your lab, research interest, age of subjects etc. so that we can make sure that the most relevant information is sent to you. Sales inquiries are handled directly by our scientific staff so knowing a bit about your interests helps us connect you with the person on our staff who is most knowledgeable about your area of interest.

Once you have reviewed the catalog we suggest that you email us to discuss your interests with one of our staff. While we try to keep our catalog up to date, new products often become available between catalog printings. Your sales representative will be able to make sure you receive all of the most current information. If appropriate we will connect you with EGI's distributor in your local area.

Your sales representative will then work with you to prepare a specific proposal for your consideration. Prices listed in the proposal will be firm for 30 days after the proposal.

Purchasing a System

The following policies apply to your purchase of an EGI system or other EGI products:

 

Delivery

Delivery is generally 90 days after receipt of the purchase order. EGI sends a support engineer or scientist to install and test the system, and to provide an initial orientation to the software tutorials for data acquisition and analysis. Scheduling of this installation visit will be arranged at the time of purchase.

 

Warranty

All (non-beta) EGI manufactured products are sold with a one-year limited warranty. Copies of the warranty are available upon request.

 

Authorized Use

Your right to use these products is strictly limited to research purposes; you may not use them for medical treatment or diagnosis. The products have not yet been approved by FDA or similar organizations for use with patients for these purposes. You are solely responsible for the proper and safe conduct of your research studies. All use of these products must be in compliance with 45 CRF 46 and appropriate human subjects' procedures as they exist within your institution.

 

Shipping/Customs and VAT

All carriage costs are in addition to prices quoted.

 

Geographically Based Pricing

In some countries EGI has recruited local distributors to provide sales, installation, product support and training. In these countries, pricing will reflect the costs of distribution and local support services.

 

Prices Subject to Change

All quoted prices are expressed in US dollars and subject to change without notice. However, if you request a purchase proposal we will hold the quote firm for an agreed period.

 

Third-Party Products

If you purchase software from us that is provided by another firm, that firm will generally provide the direct support under the terms of a license agreement. We can provide you a copy of the warranty and license agreements that apply to these products.
